Christopher Antone
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Chris was born in Pensacola, Florida where he lived out a good majority of his life. He grew up in a pastor’s home surrounded by God’s people his entire life. Chris was saved in high school being led to the Lord by his father Chet Antone.
Chris started working in ministry in his mid 20’s at Joy Baptist Church where he trained under church leaders in several facets of ministry. This time period was instrumental in shaping him into the leader that he would become, concreting him into a foundation of doctrine and leadership that would serve him for the next 25 years of ministry.
Chris would take over the pastorate at Joy Baptist Church in the summer of 2003 when his father suddenly passed away. He served there until 2010 after which he would be called by the Holy Spirit to Athol Idaho. He began serving at Athol Baptist Church during the summer of 2010 and is joyfully serving there at this time.
Pastor Chris is a passionate speaker and preacher of the Word of God and proactively seeks to train up new leaders for the cause of Christ.
Greg Berry
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Greg was born in Long Beach, California. He was born again in Athol, Idaho in 1981. Greg moved his wife and family to North Idaho in 1979. He has spent the last 38 years serving Jesus at Athol Baptist Church in many different capacities. He has been a Sunday School teacher, youth director (25+ years), served on just about every committee there is and has been Associate Pastor since 2016.
Greg enjoys his work at the church, serving others, working around his home, and his 3 kids and 9 grandkids.
Richard Alderson
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Richard was born in Hawaii and raised in Alabama by wonderful parents who exemplified the love of Christ in their lives.
Prior to planting his family in North Idaho, Richard lived all across the United States. These travels have enabled him to engage with a myriad of cultures and worldviews. These interactions developed an intense passion for apologetics, defending the Christian faith, and discipleship, mentoring believers in the truth of God’s Word, in his life.
Richard was honored to join ABC as a volunteer pastoral associate in 2017, and he currently leads the children's group ministry for ABC. Richard is always ready to help believers on their path to becoming Ambassadors for Christ.
Ken Billing
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Ken grew up in a broken family in western Montana where he met his high school sweetheart, Patty. They became parents at 16 years old and were married at 18. Their lives changed dramatically after they were born again at 20. They raised their son and daughter together and now have three grandchildren. Their marriage continues to be a demonstration of God's grace and faithfulness for 45 years and counting.
The couple has served the body of Christ in various roles within and alongside churches in Washington, Oregon, and Montana. After Ken retired early from the computer software industry, the couple relocated to Bayview, Idaho where they joined Athol Baptist Church in 2017. Before accepting the position of Associate Pastor in 2021, Ken served as a deacon and as worship leader. Ken now leads the small group ministry and is Producer of the Three Pastors Walk Into A Bar podcast hosted by Sr. Pastor Chris Antone. Ken and Patty lead an annual Love & Respect marriage seminar small group. Ken's hobbies are playing guitars, blogging, sailing, and mountain sports.
